The College of Business, Feng Chia University has been honored with the Eduniversal Selected award for six consecutive years.
The College of Business, Feng Chia University has once again been honored with the Eduniversal Selected award in the latest 2024 Eduniversal rankings. This marks the sixth consecutive year since 2019 that the College has received this international recognition. This achievement not only highlights the College's steady performance in teaching and international development but also underscores its outstanding contributions in various fields such as teaching quality, research impact, and social responsibility.
Eduniversal, as a global authority in higher business education evaluation, selects the world's top business schools each year based on multiple indicators such as internationalization, academic influence, employment outcomes, and student satisfaction. Under the leadership of former Dean Professor Alan Hsiang-Tsai Chiang, the College of Business laid a solid foundation for development. Under the current leadership of Dean Professor Chiung-Ju Huang, the College continues to advance teaching innovation and international exchange, demonstrating remarkable performance in multiple professional fields. This not only reaffirms the College's commitment to cultivating talents with a global perspective but also highlights its outstanding achievements in the field of international business education.
In recent years, the College of Business has actively promoted international development, establishing dual-degree partnerships with several renowned institutions, including Aston University, Coventry University, Nottingham Trent University, and the University of Essex in the UK; Burgundy School of Business, Rennes School of Business, and Excelia Business School in France; San Francisco State University and Temple University in the USA; and Queensland University of Technology and the University of South Australia in Australia. Recently, the College has expanded its cooperation with Queensland University of Technology and signed a cooperation agreement with Kinki University in Japan, further enhancing its international influence.
The College actively expands teaching innovation, launching the nation's first "Corporate Sustainable Development Credit Program," which focuses on sustainable development and designs interdisciplinary learning opportunities. At the same time, it has improved its all-English professional courses, attracting over 430 international students. To enhance the quality of all-English teaching, more than a quarter of the faculty have completed teacher training courses in collaboration with the University of Adelaide in Australia. The College has also established an EMI Teacher Growth Community and the Feng Chia Chapter of the International English Speech Association, promoting professional development for teachers and improving students' English proficiency. These efforts have earned the College the "Field Benchmark Program" award in the Ministry of Education's "Bilingual Learning Plan for College Students."
To cultivate students' innovative abilities and practical skills, the College encourages students to participate in various activities such as hackathons, entrepreneur lectures, and professional subject competitions, and closely collaborates with the industry. These initiatives further strengthen students' comprehensive competitiveness and solidify the College of Business's leadership position in the field of international business education.
