“Passing the Flame”: FCU Student Organization Inauguration and Leadership Handover Ceremony Marks a New Chapter of Student Leadership

Feng Chia University held its Academic Year 2025–26 Student Organization Inauguration and Leadership Handover Ceremony, themed“Passing the Flame,” on June 14. The event opened with faculty advisors and student committee leaders making creative entrances alongside the organizations they mentor. Vice President Kuo-Hao Tang encouraged all student leaders to embrace the ceremony’s theme, emphasizing that leadership transitions represent not only the transfer of responsibility, but also the passing on of experience, values, and passion. He expressed confidence that incoming leaders would build upon the achievements of their predecessors, continue to innovate, and guide their organizations toward new milestones while keeping the spirit of student organizations alive across generations.

為結合理論與實務，讓學生從更多元的角度深入了解航空產業的運作模式，本系於2026年5月29日舉辦企業參訪活動。本次行程前往台灣航空業龍頭——長榮航空與長榮航太進行深度企業參訪，由吳佳真老師及郭仲偉系主任帶領40位同學體驗航空安全教育、模擬機演練觀摩、客艙設備體驗及後勤機棚維修直擊，全方位解密大型航空公司在「運輸安全」與「後勤維修系統」上的嚴謹與專業。

FCU College of Construction and Development Hosts AEC Digital Prototyping and GIS Competition Students Use AI to Solve Campus Laundry Queue Problems

The College of Construction and Development at Feng Chia University hosted the 2026 AEC Digital Prototyping and Geographic Information System (GIS) Competition on June 7. Supported by the Ministry of Education's Project on Experimental and Constructive Approaches for New Engineering Education, the competition was built upon two courses—AEC Digital Prototyping and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)—and encouraged students to transform classroom learning into practical solutions. Integrating spatial information technologies, data analytics, and digital tools, participants developed innovative proposals addressing challenges related to smart cities, transportation, environmental sustainability, and urban governance. From problem identification and data collection to spatial analysis and final presentations, teams demonstrated strong interdisciplinary collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

國際交流新里程碑： 新加坡社科大學師生訪逢甲大學 深入洞察智慧交通與物流產業

新加坡社會科學大學(Singapore University of Social Sciences, SUSS)由 Hsieh Cheng-Hsien 與 Serena Seah Bee Kee 兩位教授率領 29 名學生，於 12 月 1 日起展開為期三日的訪台交流。此行全程由逢甲大學運輸與物流學系接待，旨在透過多場高層次產官學參訪，深化兩校在運輸、物流與智慧交通領域的合作與互動。行程首日，由黃彥斐老師陪同參訪「臺中捷運機廠及行控中心」，師生在臺中捷運股份有限公司專業團隊引導下，深入了解車輛維修、行控系統與營運管理等核心流程，拓展國際學生對軌道運輸實務的整體認識。

開拓物流新視野，深耕永續經營理念

為結合理論與實務，讓學生從更多元的角度深入了解物流產業的運作模式，本系於2025年11月21日舉辦企業參訪活動。本次行程別出心裁，由吳佳真老師及郭仲偉系主任帶領40位同學上午前往臺北市立動物園探索鮮為人知的「生物物流」，下午則造訪昇恆昌深入了解國際零售物流與企業ESG永續作為。透過截然不同的產業型態，讓同學們看見物流管理在不同領域的專業應用與挑戰。
