Experience University Charm: 2025 "Meet Feng Chia" Invites You to Explore Departments and Future Careers

Choosing a university is a significant turning point in life. To help high school students and parents fully understand university life and departmental characteristics, Feng Chia University will hold its annual "Meet Feng Chia" event on April 12 (Saturday) from 9 AM to 4 PM. We sincerely invite high school students, parents, and high school teachers from all over Taiwan to visit the Feng Chia campus, experience the university atmosphere, and explore their future direction. Hearing from teachers and friends is not as good as seeing for yourself.

In the choice of higher education, professional courses, international resources, career development, and innovative teaching models are always the key concerns for students and parents. The "Meet Feng Chia" event will provide first-hand information, including "Department Time" for face-to-face exchanges with department faculty and senior students; in-depth analysis of Feng Chia's most distinctive innovative academic system and international resources through special lectures; showcasing research achievements and industry practical connections at the "Industry-Academia Highlights Exhibition"; and various activities such as the Feng Chia prospective freshmen session (special selection and star admission) and free exploration campus checkpoint activities.

Since 2022, Feng Chia University has held the "Meet Feng Chia" event annually, attracting over 2,000 enthusiastic participants, including high school students, parents, and teachers.

Virtuosi Hall, designed by international architect Kengo Kuma for Feng Chia University and completed in February, is the only space in the country specifically designed for student learning and will be open for tours on the event day. The Birthday Hall, equipped with high-standard audio and lighting equipment suitable for large lectures, concerts, and theatrical performances; a large lecture hall with global connectivity; a multifunctional hall with flexible space configuration suitable for interactive teaching or cross-disciplinary discussions; and over 20 classrooms, along with sunlit and green public spaces, provide an environment that combines aesthetics, sustainability, and intelligent learning for all faculty and students.

In Cheers Magazine's 2025 "University Presidents' Performance Evaluation Survey," Feng Chia University ranked third nationwide and first among private universities. This marks the tenth consecutive year that Feng Chia University has been ranked first among comprehensive private universities! The university has been recognized by university presidents for its internationalization, innovative teaching, and other aspects.

In Cheers Magazine's University Presidents' Performance Evaluation Survey, Feng Chia University has ranked first among private universities for ten consecutive years.

Additionally, the Ministry of Education annually publishes various university-related data, with "registration rate" and "retention rate" being the most watched indicators. These figures not only reflect the attractiveness and teaching quality of the school but also directly show students' satisfaction and adaptation to the school. Feng Chia University's retention rate for the 113th academic year is 95.84%, ranking second nationwide and first among private schools, demonstrating excellent student retention ability. The registration rate is equally impressive, with a 100% registration rate for daytime bachelor's programs and a 97.29% registration rate for all new students (including international students), ranking fourth nationwide among schools with an enrollment scale of over 5,000, only behind National Cheng Kung University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and National Taiwan University.

Yu-Chen Chen, Yi-Yan Chen, An-Ching Cheng from the Department of Chinese Literature at Feng Chia University, along with two engineering students, jointly developed an AI digital companion and won the championship in the "2024 iLink Generative AI Creative Application Competition" guided by the Ministry of Education.

Feng Chia University assists in the implementation of AI in the industry, partnering with leading technology companies Siemens and Hiwin Technologies to use AI and robotic arms to build smart factories, reshaping the future of Taiwan's construction industry.
