Feng Chia University Re-enters QS World University Sustainability Rankings, Retains Top Private University Spot
The global higher education indicator QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) launched the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability in 2023. This December, it announced the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025. Feng Chia University has once again made the list this year, retaining the honor of being the top private university for two consecutive years. Among 1,744 universities from 107 countries and regions worldwide, Taiwan has 40 public and private universities on the list, including 23 public universities and 17 private universities.
To deepen and continuously implement the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on campus, Feng Chia University established the Office of Sustainability and Social Responsibility in 2023. The office integrates curriculum planning, teaching innovation, and various action plans to comprehensively promote sustainability both on and off campus. The scope includes energy management, green buildings, local revitalization, social responsibility, and resource reuse, showcasing the university's proactive efforts on sustainability issues.
Through meticulously designed courses and activities, Feng Chia University encourages students to actively participate in the promotion and practice of the SDGs. This helps them understand the importance of sustainable development and learn how to put theory into practice through real actions.
